I have a friend who just found out she is pregnant. She had questions about training while pregnant and I suggested that it is possible to continue as long as the intensity is scaled back. The movements (we do) are not intense, they are functional and can be done carefully and in a controlled manner to continue improving / maintaining one's skills and strength ... through times of injury, pregnancy, recovery, etc.
I did a little search for info on training while pregnant to pass along to her and found this terrific web site:
