Mobility is so important for maintaining healthy muscle and connective tissue. Lack of mobility is responsible for reduced performance, not only in the gym, but in every day activities.
Not long ago, I attended a Movement and Mobility Certification with Kelly Starrett. He does amazing work in helping people improve their mobility and has now started a blog for what he calls the "Daily Mobility WOD". It is a recommended daily "workout" that takes an average of 10 minutes and focuses on working on those important areas of mobility.
