Certified Agatsu Kettle Bell Instructor

It was a great weekend of training and I earned my certification as an Agatsu Kettle Bell Instructor! Some good photos provided by Shawn Mozen here.

This photo was taken half way through a workout at the end of the first day. After 7 hours of training, with little rest and only 20 minutes for lunch, we were put through a circuit called "Second Wind".

This was a circuit for time and consisted of only two exercises ... two handed kb swings and tuck jump burpees (a burpee with a jump where your knees are supposed to come up to meet your elbows).

The format was as follows:
30 tj burpees
20 kb swings
25 tj burpees
25 kb swings
20 tj burpees
30 kb swings
15 tj burpees
35 kb swings
10 tj burpees
40 kb swings
5 tj burpees
45 kb swings

This was a total of 105 tuck jump burpees and 195 kb swings, which I managed to complete in 17:58. It was a tough one, especially at the end of a long training day!
