Indian Summer

Today marks the transition from summer to fall.

And although "the leaves are falling"... it's still hotter than Hades around here!

So I've been trying to find ways to make my weather-appropriate summer clothes look a little more fall-inspired.

One easy way, throw on a scarf.
This gorgeous one is from Theodora and Callum. You can also find tons of awesome patterns at your local flee market (Melrose and Fairfax every Sunday for you Angelenos).

Moody burgandy is always a great fall color, but this breezy skirt keeps it fun and casual for a hot day (similar look here).

Take the look from day to night with a smokey purple eye and a leather jacket.
 Step 1:

Coat lid in a light pink/purple shadow.

Step 2:

In a sweeping "V" shape, coat outer corners of lids in a deep, dark purple shadow.

Step 3:

Swipe inner corners of lids with a champagne shadow.

Step 4:

Line bottom lashes with a dark brown/dark purple pencil.
Step 5:

Call an ambulance because boys be getting whiplash!
