Piked Push Ups

A progression for Hand Stand Push Ups.


  Key Points:
  • Keep a straight spine, with glutes and core engaged
  • Start in as vertical a position as possible (scale by reducing the angle)
  • Drive arms and shoulders into the ground
  • Bring the TOP of head down to the ground (not the forehead)
  • Head and hands should form a triangle at the bottom (not in-line)
  • Elbows bend back (not to the sides)
  • Shoulders open at the top (head in line with upper arms)
