Cholesterol and Heart Disease: A Phony Issue


Since the early 1970's, we have been told that cholesterol is bad and that we need to avoid saturated fats (and consume more grains).

This advice was not based on any real science, and is in fact wrong.  Cholesterol is not evil, but has many healthy benefits.  The attempts to lower cholesterol with low fat diets and medications only makes matters worse.
